Peaceful Babes yoga classes are designed to be fun, safe and engaging. At Space to Grow Learning Centre, we are certified Peaceful Babes Kids Yoga Teachers and hold current first aid certificates.

Our yoga classes are run in set blocks aligning with school terms. This consistent practice allows for skill development and consolidation. 

Small class sizes (limited to 8 children per class). *Classes require a minimum of 4 participants to run.

No experience or equipment is required to participate in any of our yoga classes. The emphasis is on creating a non-competitive environment that is welcoming and supportive.

To cater for different stages of development, we offer three levels of yoga classes: Preschool, Lower Primary, and Upper Primary.

Our classes are designed for specific age ranges; however, we understand that every child develops at their own pace. If you think your child would be more suited to a class outside of their age group, please contact us to discuss your child's needs.

Preschool Yoga (Ages 3 - 5)

At this age, children enjoy discovering new things and learning what their body can do. They are developing balance and coordination and learning to follow simple instructions.

Preschool yoga classes allow children to discover simple yoga poses through fun stories. They will also have the opportunity to practice calming their mind and body through relaxation exercises and mindful colouring activities.

Class Duration: 30 minutes

Cost: $10 per class

Lower Primary Yoga (Ages 5 - 8)

Children in this age group generally have greater control over their bodies and will enjoy challenging themselves in new ways.  

Lower primary yoga classes use yoga stories and games to engage children as they learn different yoga poses, building strength and flexibility. Relaxation and breathing exercises, as well as mindful colouring activities, allow children the space to practice calming their mind and body. 

Class Duration: 45 minutes

Cost: $14 per class

Upper Primary Yoga (Ages 9 - 12)

As they mature emotionally, children will often find yoga useful to manage anxiety or other emotions and life situations they are finding difficult. Children who participate in different sports may use yoga to gain more flexibility and strength. 

Upper primary yoga classes introduce yoga sequences rather than stories, focusing on the benefits of each pose. The guided relaxation and breathing exercises taught can be used outside the yoga classroom to help manage big emotions.

Class Duration: 1 hour

Cost: $17 per class
